The old Protestant Cemetery in George Town, Penang was the first christian cemetery on the island after the Prince of Wales Island Settlement was founded there by Captain Francis Light in 1786. It has the grave of Captain Francis Light and other early administrators and missionaries. It is now part of the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site.
